Great gloves!

When I first saw them in the catalog, they reminded me of Shooto style gloves, which I also wanted to try out due to their unique shape. While these gloves are not the cheapest, as with all gear, you get what you pay for. Merging the front of a small boxing glove with the open palm and finger loop design of an MMA glove, the MMA safety sparring glove is great for just about anything. Bag work, mitts, grappling and MMA sparring, the sky is the limit! People might comment on how the item looks clunky and would be bad for stand up or wrestling, but I have pummeled with those gloves on before and had no issues. They are not as thin as other gloves so some things will be harder than others to do but its much safer to use in sparring than a thinner glove. I love to do ground and pound work with these gloves, laying a heavy bag on the floor and moving around and smashing it! They protect my hands very well and it is the only pair of gloves I use for that. I highly recomend these!

I currently have 4 pairs of MMA gloves, this being one of them. I decided to get these gloves because Jake from Nevver Back Down used them, and they looked pretty good. These gloves attach to your hands well, the straps latching onto your fingers, and the padding is excellent. The wrist support is good too. Good gloves, but there are better ones out there. Oh yeah, the sizes are kinda weird.
It's up to you if you want to wear wraps under these gloves. If you do get 1-2 sizes larger. I wear wraps to protect my wrists because these are MMA gloves, very little wrist protecction.

Decent protection

These gloves offer decent protection and mobility. The main drawback is the loops that your fingers go through. Mine are sized well and the loops still dig into my fingers, leading to scrapes.

These gloves are very protective and functional. The comfort factor is a plus during long training sessions. Only Draw back is that the sizes run a little big.
