I bought some of these about a month and a half ago and the internal stitching has started to come loose under not very heavy use.
These are a very basic boxing glove that don't offer much in the way of wrist protection and are a bit too solid to use for sparring. However, they do offer basic support and protection, and are somewhat suitable for a basic glove. That being said, if you're looking to take your training beyond a boxercise class, I would suggest something with more substance than these.
I still use them sometimes for bag work, but have upgraded to a pair of Hayabusa's for focus mits and sparring.

I have these gloves, the price is very fair. the fit is gerat and very convenient when sparring. The comfort is awesome and when they need to come off, there is no hassle. Perfect gloves!

I do not recommend these gloves for sparring at all. Please do your sparring partner a favour and buy something a little more soft. Its not worth it to buy a cheap glove like this when you can dole out a bit more cash and buy gloves with more padding for your hands and your sparring partner's face.

For $40, you can buy a pair of gloves that are much better than these. The velcro doesn't strap on as good. The material used to make these gloves are also lacking. therefore the gloves feel hard, and they aren't made very well. You shouldn't spar with these gloves, they're too hard. The good thing about these gloves is that these are a decent alternative, but if you can, shell out an extra $20-30 for a better pair.
