Pretty good... February 26, 2011

Being that I don't have any basis of comparison since this is my first pair, I can only give my insight as to my experience with them.  I can't offer any advise on how these compare with other gloves on the market.  

First off the velcro adjustment on the wrist fits good and gives me no issues.  I've got pretty skinny wrists so I'd say I really put them to the test.  They seem to hold just fine, and I haven't had to adjust them yet during use.  

They cushion my hits pretty good and don't leave my hands sore after.  The overall quality of these is pretty good as they seem to have held up well so far for me but I've only got about two months use out of them.  

All in all I think this is a great glove for someone to start off in, which fit the bill perfectly for me.

I use these for pad work with my boxing, as well as for sparring. I train at a MMA school currently and have 2nd black belt in Tae Kwon Do. I think these gloves are great for any type of sparring or conditioning work.

A Good Beginner Glove June 3, 2010

These gloves are a good place for a beginner or someone who isn't really sure they want to jump with both feet into the kickboxing game. These gloves are not of the same quality as brands only 20 or 40 dollars more expensive. But if you think of the brands in different categories, then this would be a good glove for someone in the "entry level" category.
The quality of the material and the stitching began showing wear very quickly and by the end of 10 months were looking in bad shape.

As a "Beat em up" pair only February 1, 2010

I bought some of these about a month and a half ago and the internal stitching has started to come loose under not very heavy use.

 These are a very basic boxing glove that don't offer much in the way of wrist protection and are a bit too solid to use for sparring.  However, they do offer basic support and protection, and are somewhat suitable for a basic glove.  That being said, if you're looking to take your training beyond a boxercise class, I would suggest something with more substance than these.

I still use them sometimes for bag work, but have upgraded to a pair of Hayabusa's for focus mits and sparring.
