These are great for training or any beginner. Great fit and protection, but wrap your hands well before use.

Good Starter Gloves November 2, 2009

Good Gloves for a beginner. I got the pink set for my Girlfriend and the blue for me a few months ago and we train with them alot. The weight is very light and the Velcro straps makes it easy to get on.

although it may seem like it has a lot of wrist support it does not, there is a lot of space inbetween the glove and your wrist so def wear tape when using these gloves.

My wife loves pink and wants good padding while training and these gloves deliver! When she opened them she was excited and exclaimed that, "They are so cute!" A great buy for the MMA/Boxing girl in your life!

Bought these for my daugther after she tried to liberate my gloves. Fit her small hands well when wrapped. No noticeable difference between the red and pink versions. Holding up really well after a year of moderate mitt work and daily use on the heavy bag.
