kind of painfull July 11, 2010
Reviewer: Malefict from markham, ON Canada
I get a sharp pain sometimes when my buddy hits it but other than that its a good mit. Make sure as you stop a hook not to move your hand around in it too much or else your wrist is going to take a bit of a beating. Id use wraps inside the mit to make sure you don't injure your hands

focus mitts September 28, 2009
Reviewer: Anonymous Person
it's kind of hard to explain what its like hitting these mitts. we have like 20 pairs of these at my gym, maybe its because those mitts are like 5 years old, but i find that when i put a pair of these one, my wrist gets cramped up a lot easier and i always get something semi sharp poking at my skin and have contour lines are taking them off. they dont feel good, and for focus mitts you need to have your hands protected because your practically having your hands smahed against. especially against the heavy punchers, these need to be top of the line, and i only recommend top of the line. go for a pair of grants or twins mitts isntead. also my bias review may have to do with the condition of the mitts, but that just says they arent long long lsting.

Focus Mitts September 2, 2009

Its a pretty decent focus mitt, absorbs impact pretty good except with the real heavy hitters.  All in all it'll get the job done.

Decent mitts, but a bit pricey for what you get April 23, 2009
Reviewer: Justin from Winslow, ME United States
The curved design is becoming more popular and is generally a better option than standard mitts.

Everlast's mitts are OK in terms of construction.  In my experience with 2 different pairs I found each mitt was molded different from the other and it was just odd looking.

These are comfortable to wear however, and fit well.  They absorb impact well and are solid.  For the price though I'd rather look for something else.
