These protect good but might fit tight if you get the wrong size.

when grappling, the cup tends to slide but other than that great shorts and cup, shorts are very durable and keep you relatively dry and cup does its job, much more comfortable than the strap. just need to find a way to make the cup stay put better

Worth every penny!

This was one of the best if not the very best investment I made when starting to train. These shorts have lasted through countless washes, swimming pool trips, grappling and striking classes and matches, and are still going strong. Stitching, compressibility, etc, all hold up very very very well and the cup does not move around much if you ge the right size, so im loving it.

This is my everyday cup. It is a good fit, and I like the quality of everything. However, I must say that I have never rolled with it, and only use it for muay thai sparring. However, the cup can move at times, but no real problems

Good, but annoying

The groinguard itself is great and everything, but I'm currently training 5 days or so a week, so it can be a little annoying with only one pair of shorts.
I think I'll stick with the strap even if it is less comfortable.
