The upside-down design makes it extremely awkward when sparring and rolling. I feel like it's going to pop out of my mouth whenever I open it to breathe. I would not recommend it. Maybe for a different sport but not any fight sport.

I have used several differant mouth gaurds. This one absorbes jaw shock the best. I would suggest this to anyone in training, but not for a fight.

this was another stop in my quest to find a mouth guard that fit well enough to grapple in without having to think about where it was in my mouth. i encourage anyone that is serious about training (and not losing teeth) to consider getting a custom guard instead of wasting time with boil and bites. i probably spent $60 on boil and bites, and that could have gone to a $100 custom guard almost painlessly. dont make the same mistake i did

This mouth guard does not protect fighters whatsoever. The molding was poor and didn't stay on my teeth. You're better off using a regular shock doctor mouth guard.
