Great for a boil and bite November 15, 2009

I still bust this mouth guard out from time to time as i keep spares in my gym bag for when I forget my custom. All and all its a great mouth guard, as many people dont realize sometimes they need the youth sizes as some people just have smaller mouths. I personally used the adult and it goes back to probably my last or second to last row of teeth.

I love this guard I find myself wearing it often at jiu jitsu and I've had some very painful chokes and locks applied that have placed alot of pressure on my jaw and I didnt realize how effective this guard was tell I grappled with out it one day and felt the pain of not only my teeth grinding but my jaw moving around awkwardly as I was unable to bite into my guard.

The only thing I've found as a downside is the harder plastic base material used... if you bite down to hard when forming this you will bite all the way to the plastic and it creates larger sized side walls then you would want to have on the side of your mouth.

it was very difficult to get fitted and once i got it as close as i could it was very uncomfortable. I recommend spending your money on a different mouthguard.

dont waste your time July 29, 2009

this guard wasnt that easy to shape and if you have to try to reboil and bite it, you might as well throw it away. so unless you're a pro at boil and bites, dont waste your time and money, honestly, getting a custom guard was the best $100 i ever spent.

Very large fitting mouth guard, i personally hated it and could never get used to it no matter how many times i boiled it and tried to get it to fit right it was still clunky and hard to talk and breath with..

I've had this mouthguard for about a month and so far I still have all of my teeth! It doesn't fit as snug as a custom, but it does a good job.
