My old gym used to have these all over the place. They can take a beating thats for sure.
The padding is so much so that its almost unsafe to use these on any hard striking surfaces like heavy bags or headhunter bags and even some punch mits. The wrists tend to roll...
But for sparring... These are PERFECT.
Plenty of cushion for the heavy hitter in us all. We used to go ALL OUT in these as long as it was between regular sparring partners with headgear and the full getup.

Would use these only for sparring due to limited protection while hitting a heavy bag. They are stylish and look good but are not the best money can buy. The Hayabusa 16oz Gloves are A LOT better in terms of wrist protection and knuckle protection. I bruised my knuckles even with hand wraps using these gloves.

First gloves I've ever used. There's actually a fair amount of protection for your knuckles, but not much wrist support. These will definitely need wraps, even for some light bag work.

Buy something better if your serious about training. These are definitely okay for beginners or a light workout, and they are better than the cheapo ones, but dish out a little extra cash.
