Zebra Landing Mats were designed specifically to help keep your students safe while practicing throws and takedowns, or learning how to fall properly. Landing mats allow students to perfect throws and takedowns at full speed without wear and tear on their partner's body. It also saves wear and tear on the body. The mat measures 96" x 60" x 6" thick and folds in half for easy storage. Available in blue or black. Made by Zebra.

This mat is a absolute must have in a mma or a wrestling gym...I mean you just really need to have one. Or for personal home use if your training with people out of your house even. Nice quality. Only negative is that it is a little on the pricey side...but it is not to bad cause it is a bigger landing mat.

This is a great product for beginners in Judo, Wrestling and MMA.  Often people injure themselves or others doing takedowns or throws when learning.  The padded mat obviously can't fix poor form, but it definitely helps prevent potentially disastrous landings

This is a MUST have for JUDO players or wrestlers doing hard takedowns

This is super padded, so you can take throws and slams on it without worry of serious injury

Zebra mats are top notch, this wont rip or tear and it will give you years and years of slams and throws

Good buy for big guys January 31, 2009

This is a great item to buy. It works very well for getting comfortable with being thrown. Also good for those really big guys since their joints take quite a big toll even with non-throwing take downs, be it shots, trips, etc.

I think it's essential for any grappling gym training takedowns.
