Zebra Mats are designed with a Anti-skid surface on the bottom of the mats to keep them from shifting. However, there are circumstances that Zebra can not control that will cause the mats to shift. Examples would be placing your mats on carpet or on dirty / dusty floors. Zebra Mats came up with a solution. The new Zebra Mats, Mat Tape.
This tape will hold your mats in place whether you're putting them on concrete, hardwood floors, linoleum, or carpet. It's also very easy to use. Just flip up the mats on the outside edge of your work area and stick the tape to the floor. Then put the mats back in place and you're done. when you want to move the mats, simply pull the mats up, peel the adhesive off the floor and throw the tape away. Another great feature of this product is it will not leave any residue on your floor, making it very easy to clean up. The tape is available in rolls 9" wide x 60 yards long. That's enough tape to do a 40' x 40' ring.
Place the tape approximately one foot from the outside edges. Fold up the border mats, stick the adhesive to the floor and place the mats over the adhesive. Walk on the mats over the adhesive to ensure a good bond.
